Aaris Design Architects, PLLC, has been selected to design the new La Marqueta Placita in East Harlem. Aaris seeks to celebrate the site’s rich diverse cultural history while creating cleaner site lines and introducing landscaping and other site improvements. The additional greenery and environmentally friendly materials are as important as keeping the cultural elements that make this site intensely unique. We’ve created a flexible stage for the numerous bands that play while local New Yorkers show off their mastery of salsa dancing. Adding a new coffee shop at the 116th Street entry, this new plan seeks to attract new visitors and tourists that leads towards the new La Marqueta.
